BEE COURSES
We have three types of bee courses to offer. One is a full day at Bethells Beach where you learn how to keep bees. The second is an online course that equips you with all the gear, a hive of bees and one years free online support from BEES UP TOP. The third is a course for people that have a hive but are feeling a little confused with what to do with their bees. All are inspiring and fascinating, the online course just kick starts your journey. If you would like to give a gift voucher for a class please contact us.
1 day - BEGINNER BEE COURSE - WILL START AGAIN IN MARCH 2021- gift vouchers available
A full-on intensive day (9-3pm) of learning and working inside beehives at Bethells Beach. Lunch and coffee are provided, we have bee suits and gloves for everyone. We only allow 12 people on each course so that everyone gets our full attention. This course is a live stream that will teach you everything you need to know to keep your own bees! Here is how it works:
You register your details with BEESUPTOP. This tells us your address and we will give you access to the live stream.
Bees Up Top delivers you your new bees! They come complete with a Queen Bee!
Included in your delivery is everything you need to make your own beehive for your bees to live in. We will show you how to assemble everything during the course. All you need to bring is a hammer.
All your beekeeping gear is included too! You will be fully equipped and protected to go into your hive!
Make a day of it with your family or flatmates that you are in isolation with! We can deliver more protective gear for a small cost, just let us know asap.
This course gives you all the skills to keep your own bees which will pollinate your garden and make back yard honey!
After the course we will connect everyone in a private Facebook group and give you beekeeping support for 1 YEAR. This is the most valuable part because you can ask questions and we will prompt steps to take during the year. After one full year of beekeeping, you will be flying!

1 day - INTERMEDIATE BEE COURSE WILL START AGAIN IN MARCH 2021- GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE
This course is a live stream from our place to yours. Its a full-on intensive day (10-2pm) of theory and working inside beehives at your house. During the course you will build your own hive that we drop to your doorstep and is included in the course price. Maybe you have been given a hive and don’t know how to care for the bees or are looking to up-skill. The most valuable part of this course is that you are linked into a years free mentorship from BEES UP TOP! We will guide you through a full season of beekeeping, prompting you with what you need to do next with your hive and are always someone to call if you need a second opinion with your bees.
