When Precinct approached Bees Up Top about installing beehives at Commercial Bay, we were excited to bring a little more nature into one of Auckland's busiest urban precincts.

But getting the bees there was no small job!

Getting the hives to the roof

The first challenge was getting the beehives all the way up to their rooftop homes. With careful planning and coordination with the Commercial Bay team, we safely transported and installed the hives at their designated rooftop locations.

Once in place, the hives were ready for their new residents.
