These classes are aimed at children between 5-10 years old and include:

• Learning about the importance of bees, pollination, honey production, and what goes on inside a hive

• A 3D bee experience

• Honey tasting

• Queen spotting on a live frame of bees

• Dressing up as a beekeeper

• Seeds to plant at home that help support pollinator health in your area.

This class is taught by Bees Up Top beekeeper, Jessie Baker & Comvita beekeeper, Noelani Waters.

Bees Up Top attends to 100’s of call outs each Spring about swarms of bees that need rescuing and re-homing. Your donation goes towards building hives for these bees and treating them for Varroa disease.
